History of Anderston Walking Tour
Join Keira McLean and Henry Bell from Radical Glasgow Tours for a walk through some of the radical histories of Anderston.
From weavers to revolutionaries, lost graveyards, to local heroes, join us on a stroll through the political and social history of one of Glasgow’s oldest neighbourhoods.
Route: The tour will take us from the starting point outside The Pyramid, around West Anderston, under the M8, over Charing cross and back to The Pyramid, covering 2 miles and taking 1.45-2 hrs (including stops).
Accessibility: This route is on city pavements and does include some steep hills. If you would like to see a detailed map of the route, or if there is any further information you would like to know, please email: radicalglasgowtours@gmail.com.
Following the tour, you are welcome to join the community lunch at The Pyramid (£3 – pay on the door)
