Please support us by signing up! Annual Membership is £1, and runs from May to April each year.

  • If you live within G3 7 or G3 8 postcode areas you can become an Ordinary Member.

Please note, becoming a member of The Pyramid does not include membership to The Pyramid Shop. You can sign up for The Pyramid Shop here

Ordinary Members are eligible to stand as Board Members and can vote on decisions at our Annual General Meeting (AGM).

If you’d like to join up – but prefer to do that offline, please download our membership form to print out and fill in – and return to us with payment.

Terms and conditions of Membership

Membership renews annually on 31st May – we will contact you when your membership is due for renewal. If you sign up from 1st April onwards, your first membership renewal will be due on 31st May the following year.

Ordinary Membership is open to any individual aged 16 or over who :
is resident in the community (G3 7 or G3 8 postcode areas), is entitled to vote at a local government election in a polling district that includes the community or part of it, and who supports the purposes of The Pyramid which are:

To prevent and relieve poverty

To advance citizenship and community development

To advance the arts, heritage and culture.

To provide recreational facilities and organise recreational activities for members of the public in order to reduce isolation and to improve wellbeing and confidence; and to bring together people from different backgrounds. Activities are primarily intended for people who have need of them by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage; and for members of the public.

Ordinary Members have the right to attend the Annual General Meeting and any General Meeting and elect people to serve as Trustees.

Associate Membership is open to individuals who are not resident in the community or are a group; and support the purposes. Junior Membership is open to individuals aged between 12 – 15 and who support the purposes. Associate and Junior Members are not eligible to stand for election to the Board not to vote at any AGM or GM.
