Exciting Opportunity for Dance Instructors!
The Pyramid at Anderston is seeking a passionate, upcoming or experienced Dance Instructor to help bring the joy of dance to our community.
We’re looking for an instructor to lead a weekly dance class which will contribute to our already existing wellbeing programme. This class will create a fun, supportive, and engaging environment for all skill levels. This is a wonderful chance to share your love for dance, inspire new dancers, and make a positive impact in the community.
Opportunity for Hall Hire!
Alternatively, if you are looking to expand your own classes, we also offer high-quality facilities available for hire! Our newly refurbished sports hall is equipped with sound systems, new flooring, and plenty of space, making it the perfect spot to start or grow your dance classes.

We have two positions available in The Pyramid Shop: Food Surplus Collector and Shop Helper.
Food Surplus Collector
The Pyramid At Anderston is looking for volunteer to assist with surplus food collection.
The Pyramid Shop aims to provides the local community with easily accessible affordable food. We work with several partner organisations to help save quality food from going to waste and distribute it where it is needed the most. The demand for the service is exceptionally high due to the Cost Of Living crisis. We are seeking out new sources of food, primarily via our partnership with Neighborly, to help more local families.
As a Surplus Food Collector you’ll pick up weekly food donations from our partner supermarkets and retailers. You’ll then bring the food back to The Pyramid Shop where it will be sorted and stored securely. Collections can be done by bicycle or car.

- We reimburse mileage for both cars and bikes, this is at 45p per mile for cars, and 20p per mile for bikes.
What is expected from me?
- Follow all training you receive from us
- Reliability and good timekeeping

Collecting by car:
- A full UK driving licence.
- A road-worthy vehicle with up-to-date road tax and MOT certificate.
- Fully comprehensive insurance
Collecting by bicycle:
- A roadworthy bicycle and helmet
Commitment
A typical volunteer shift is 2 hours. Neighbourly circulates notifications of available surplus via email. You will be asked to commit to a certain time slot (eg. Thursday 9:00 – 12:00 ) and will receive a notification if the collection is available. We ask our volunteers to commit to at least one slot a week, however, you are welcome to pick up multiple collection slots if you wish.

Shop Helper
The Pyramid At Anderston is looking for new volunteers to join The Pyramid Shop team. Our Shop aims to help local residents with the ever-rising cost of feeding their families by providing dignified access to good quality affordable food.
As a Shop Helper you will assist with day to day running of The Pyramid Shop. You will work alongside staff and fellow volunteers to deliver a friendly service to Shop members. Your responsibilities will include running the till, shelf stacking and assisting shop visitors with their shopping.

Commitment
Every Friday 12:30 – 15:00. Ideally, we are looking for a volunteer that can commit to working with us for at least 6 months.
