Local Place Plan
Thank you to all who took part in the Anderston Matters Local Place Plan engagement process. We have now produced a and submitted our Local Place Plan. We’ll share any further updates here.
What is a Local Place Plan (LPP)?
- It’s a way for a community to tell the Council’s planning team their ideas and vision for their community
- It’s an opportunity to say what communities want and need from existing and future land and buildings
- It gives communities a stronger voice in shaping the future of their area and meeting the community’s needs.
- Glasgow City Council has to consider including the ideas in our LPP in the next City City Development Plan (CDP)
Who wrote the Plan?
The Pyramid and Anderston Community Council worked in partnership with Reorient Places www.reorientplaces.com to develop the Plan. Everyone in the Anderston community was invited to give their views and ideas.
Thank you to everyone from Anderston’s community who took part in the process; the Steering Group; and to Iain Macpherson from Reorient Places.
