TRUSTEES
The Pyramid is seeking Trustees to join our Board, including local Members and/or those who wish to make a meaningful contribution to our charity. We welcome a range of skills and experience of all kinds.
We provide induction, training and support. The roles are voluntary and we reimburse expenses, such as travel and childcare costs. The Board meets approximately every 8 weeks, usually for around 1-2 hours in the early evening. The time commitment is a rough average of 1 – 3 hours per month.
It is an exciting time to join us, with projects and activities coming up, the ongoing development of our wonderful building, and the opportunity to contribute to the community we serve.

CHAIR OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Pyramid is seeking a Chair of the Board, ideally an experienced trustee or director, who can work with the Trustees and Chief Officer to guide the organisation’s strategy and development, ensuring its long-term sustainability. The Chair will oversee the organisational plan and work with the Chief Officer to ensure its effective delivery.
To be considered for this role, candidates should ideally have previous board or governance experience, strong communication and committee skills, a good understanding of the third sector—particularly SCIOs—and the ability to effectively manage the Board. Regardless of background, individuals who embody qualities such as a genuine concern for others, honesty, integrity, and alignment with The Pyramid’s mission to MAKE ANDERSTON FLOURISH are encouraged to get in touch for more information.
The Chair will be required to prepare for and attend Board Meetings, which are currently every 8 weeks, as well as annual planning days and possibly sub-committee work. Board meetings are held in person but may occasionally be held remotely.
