Head of Development

We’re seeking a Head of Development who will play a vital role in delivering our core objectives and will be responsible for fundraising and income generation. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced person with a strong community focus and an entrepreneurial spirit to shape our work.

We are open to flexible working (min 21 hours to max 35 hours per week), to be agreed with the successful candidate. FTE £37,000 – £41,000 per annum, pro-rata for part-time hours. We are willing to consider freelance/self-employed applicants. It is expected there will be some evening and occasional weekend working. The postholder will be required to work in The Pyramid at least 2 days a week, with hybrid/home working by agreement.

This is an initial fixed term contract of 18 months, extension subject to funding.

Community Food Manager

We’re seeking a Community Food Manager who will play a vital role in delivering our core objectives and will manage our Shop and Fridge and develop other services. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated person with a strong community focus and an entrepreneurial spirit to shape our work.

We are open to flexible working (min 24 hours to max 35 hours per week), to be agreed with the successful candidate. FTE £28,000 – £31,000, depending on experience.

It is expected there will be some evening and occasional weekend working. The postholder will be required to work in The Pyramid, hybrid/home working is not available for this position.

TRUSTEES

The Pyramid is seeking Trustees to join our Board, including local Members and/or those who wish to make a meaningful contribution to our charity. We welcome a range of skills and experience of all kinds.

We provide induction, training and support. The roles are voluntary and we reimburse expenses, such as travel and childcare costs. The Board meets approximately every 8 weeks, usually for around 1-2 hours in the early evening. The time commitment is a rough average of 1 – 3 hours per month.

It is an exciting time to join us, with projects and activities coming up, the ongoing development of our wonderful building, and the opportunity to contribute to the community we serve.
