We’re offering FREE tables at our Spring Fling to anyone who wants to sell at our Community Jumble Sale or Makers Market.

 

Done some spring cleaning and looking to declutter? Why not make some cash by selling your good quality unwanted goods at our jumble sale. Apply through the link below and we’ll be back in touch. T&Cs apply. Priority will be given to local residents and Pyramid members.

 

We’re also looking for small businesses and artists to sell at our Makers’ Market. Tables are also FREE – apply using the same link and ensure to click the Makers’ Market option, and provide links to your business.

 

 

Get ready to preheat your ovens and show off your baking brilliance at our Spring Fling Cake Competition! Open to all ages and abilities – whether you’re a cake connoisseur or a first-time baker, this is your time to shine. 

Competition Rules: 

  • Single-Tier Cakes Only – No multi-layered or stacked cakes. 
  • Homemade is Essential – All cakes must be baked at home. 
  • Ingredient List Required – Please include a written list of ingredients with your entry for allergy awareness. 
  • Cake Drop-Off – Cakes must be delivered between 11:00am – 11:30am to be eligible. 
  • Judging Begins Promptly at 12:00pm, so don’t be late! 

Prizes Awarded: 

  • Showstopping Style – For the most creative and eye-catching design. 
  • Flavour Explosion – For the most delicious and well-balanced taste. 
  • Golden Whisk – Awarded to the overall top baker for excellence in taste, texture, and presentation.

Anderston Matters: Feedback on the draft Local Place Plan

 

Iain from Reorient Places will be at the Spring Fling to answer any questions and discuss the draft Local Place Plan, based on the community’s suggestions for Anderston’s future.

 

The plan is focused on the following themes:

Green Places Matter

Health Matters

Identity Matters

Connection Matters

Integration Matters.

 

The plan will be open for feedback from 15 May until mid-June.
