Community Land Week 2022 : Pyramid Chair Restoration Workshop

Saturday 8 October | 10am-4pm
Tickets £100 (inclusive of all materials and a chair) | Lunch & Refreshments Provided

Designed and made in Scotland exclusively for our building – we’d love some of our beautiful mid-century chairs to find new homes and a new lease of life!

Join us for this workshop, hosted as part of Community Land Week 2022 – on Sat 8 October. We’re working in partnership with furniture makers from Galgael – who’ll show you how to restore and upholster your very own bent wood chair, and then you’ll get to take it home!

The chairs were originally used as seating when our building was a church; they make perfect dining chairs or occasional seating around the house, studio or office – don’t miss your chance to own a unique piece of furniture.

We would like our chairs to go to good, loving new homes – and not be used for resale or for commercial reasons. Please only sign up if you’re planning to keep and look after your chair!

Workshop cost: £100 (inclusive of all materials and a chair). This charge supports The Pyramid and Galgael with their continuing community work. Participants will also be able to buy additional chairs at special rates. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided on both days.
